the little ones look outside

This is the scene almost every morning in the spring and summer when I open the front door in the morning. Today I finally had the camera handy enough to get a pic.

We've figured out that are some words that we can't say unless we mean them.
Those would be 'outside' and 'walk'. Otherwise he thinks we're going outside to take a walk and then play in the yard. FOREVER.

Too bad 'no' doesn't quite fit into his limited vocabulary yet...

He's figured out that when daddy takes off the blue cap on the water bottle, we get a drink.

When he figures out how to unscrew the cap himself, I'll have to carry a towel with me. Everywhere.

The Pool

For his first birthday we got Chase a little swimming pool.

He got to splash around, the neighbors kids came over and played, and we all had a grand ol time.
And got very wet.
